I have also been privileged in being an international speaker on subjects such as food security for Africa (UN Food and Agricultural Organisation - FAO), Commodity and exchange development (UNCTAD, Burgenstock, World Exchange Congress), African Development (African Union) and Energy through recycling (South Africa). • Communications Environment I have extensive experience in working in the communications environment. In South Africa I was responsible for statutory compliance communications for Rand Water, Strike Communications for Anglo Platinum, Integration communications for the National Defence Force, and assisted various other institutions in their internal and external communication planning and execution. I also have lobbied for various institutions in bringing about a constructive communication platform for stakeholders to constructively participate in the communications required in complex personnel and stakeholder environment

  4. Provide a comprehensive communication and information dissemination strategy to remedy the strike

Company: South African Medical Services (SANDF)
Position: Head of Department – Communication (Captain)
Period of Employment: August 1994 – December 1996

Duties
  • Gather intelligence on the state of morale and willingness to integrate into the SANDF
  • Research and develop a comprehensive communication implementation plan for the integration of the statutory and non-statutory military forces into the SANDF.
  • Create communication model as a military integration benchmark.
  • Manage all media and disseminate communication that will positively impact on the SANDF integration
  • Research on the readiness of two commands to amalgamate
  • Develop a comprehensive communication strategy to assist in the amalgamation of the Wits and Northern Commands
